Our Programs

After school care

After school care takes place at two of our three sites each full day of school. There is no programming at Telstar Middle School on Fridays. After school care at MKA includes a snack, outside time, and a variety of enrichments and activities. Schedules are posted at each site. Middle School

Mahoosuc Kids Association (MKA) at TMS and THS is an afterschool recreational program serving students grade 6-12. MKA at TMS/THS operates after school Monday through Thursday from 2:20 to 5 pm.

Summer care

We love providing a safe and fun 8 week program for families and kids each summer. Learn more about rates below and click the link above for more information.

Rates

Afterschool
  • MKA's after school fee schedule:
  • Registration Fee $25
  • Daily enrollment fee $15
  • Scholarships available upon request and subject to eligibility requirements.
Middle School
• Registration Fee: $25 per trimester or $75 for the school year. Scholarships ($15) are available upon request and subject to eligibility requirements.• There is no cost for daily participation in the program. Youth may attend the entire afterschool period or sign in and out to attend other afterschool programs (clubs, sports, ASA, Drama, etc) • Enrollment during this time is limited to a total of 12 spaces. Enrollees are not required to attend every day
Summer Adventure
  • MKA's Summer Adventure Program fee schedule:
  • Weekly Rate: $175
  • Daily Enrollment fee $35
  • Extended Care Fee $5
  • Early Care Fee $5
  • Scholarships available upon request and subject to eligibility requirements.

Summer Adventure Program Enrollment Packet
Due to our state licensing we require an enrollment packet for each child attending MKA. Please be sure to fill it out completely including all medical information, doctor and doctor's address, and dentist and dentist's address. This is part of our state licensing and we are required to collect it for each student.
